RATES AND TIMES

As to provide the best care for all of our clients, specific times cannot always be guaranteed. Drop in time blocks are as follows:

AM: 6:30a-9:00a , Midday: 11:00a-12:30p & 1:30p-3:00p, Evening: 5:30p-8:30p

Barks n’ Bounds LLC services a 20 mile radius starting within Summerfield, NC. My serviceable zip codes are Summerfield: 27358, Reidsville: 27320, Greensboro: 27408, 27409, 27410, 27419, 27455, Oak Ridge, 27310, Stokesdale: 27357, Madison: 27025.

I provide a free virtual video call via Zoom where I get to know your pets and go over what services you’re interested in as well as any other questions you may have. 

This is followed by a $20 in person meet and greet to ensure you and your pets are comfortable and confident in your sitter. I provide each client with a lock box for your house keys so they can remain safe on your property. Meet and Greets are not offered on Saturday and Sunday. 

Drop in Visits

30 minute visits are $25.00 and 60 minute visits are $35.00. All pets are double leashed outside of the home including on walks and potty breaks unless the home provides a secure and fenced in area. Pets will be provided with individual playtime including all indoor only animals. For safety, I will only walk 2 dogs at a time regardless of how many pets are in the household. If more time is necessary for the ample care of all pets, extended visit time may be required. 

Day Stays

Barks n’ Bounds LLC provides day stay care ranging from 2-8 hours per visit in one day. Clients can book multiple day stay visits in one day. (ex. Two 2 hour day stays from 10:30a-12:30p and another from 2:00p-4:00p) For one dog, a 2 hour day stay is $40.00 and each additional hour is $12.00. Additional pets are $15.00 per hour.  

House Sitting (No Pets)

I offer a 30 minute drop in for $25.00 where I will rotate all blinds and lights, retrieve mail and packages, fill bird feeders, water/tend to plants, flush plumbing, and maintain other general upkeep. I encourage everyone to reach out with additional requests that can be completed within the 25 minute time frame. I am only responsible for any damages to your house caused by me between the times of my arrival and departure per each service.

PAYMENT

I accept credit card payments through our Time To Pet software, cash left in an envelope labeled Barks n’ Bounds LLC, or mobile payment.

For recurring drop in visits of 30 minutes or 60 minutes and day stays of 2-8 hours, the first week of service will be charged in full on the day of booking, Cash payments are due in full on the first day of service. The following recurring services are charged weekly. If a recurring client has an upcoming day where they will not need services, the client must communicate with me through Time To Pet to reschedule the upcoming weeks with needed services. Communication and rescheduling must be completed by 6pm on the Friday prior to the week with rescheduled services.

Non-recurring drop in visits of 30 minute or 60 minute and day stays of 2-8 hours are required to pay 50% of full payment due on the day of booking and the remaining 50% is due 48 hours prior to the start of service. Same day payment in full is required for bookings requested within less then 3 days jof the start of service. Any cash tips must be left in an envelope labeled Barks n’ Bounds LLC.

CANCELLATIONS

Unfortunately due to the likelihood of turning away business to book with you, I am unable to provide refunds for our services. There are no refunds for clients leaving home later or returning earlier than anticipated. This policy applies to the entire amount listed on your invoice. 

Cancellations due to extreme circumstances such as natural disasters, extenuating medical reasons such as major injury, serious illness, death, or government-mandated obligations such as Jury duty or military leave may have the total amount due credited towards the next services or be provided with a refund under Barks n’ Bounds LLC discretion. 

BUSINESS HOURS

Business hours regarding service requests or inquiries are 9am-6pm Monday-Friday and 10am-2pm Saturday-Sunday. Meet and Greets are not offered on Saturday or Sundays. 

Clients should feel free to reach out at any time during the service dates with any emergency questions or concerns. 

RESERVATIONS

Following both the virtual Zoom and in person meet and greets between the sitter and the client, an invoice will be sent to you via Time To Pet. The invoice will contain details including the type of service, dates, times, extra information necessary, and total payment due. 

Messages left are not considered confirmation. 

FRIENDS AND FAMILY ACCESS

I am to be the only individual on the property through the length of service. If anyone will be coming by and/or require access in the home, I must be notified prior to the initial visits or stays. 

I do not share visits or responsibilities with anyone during the length of service. This includes friends and family members, other pet care providers, or any other individual. 

If someone is in the home or arrives unexpectedly during service, I will contact the client immediately and am not required to enter the home. 

I reserve the right to leave at any time if my safety feels compromised. 

KEYS

Any necessary access codes need to be given to me at the time of booking. I will provide you with a lock box for any house keys I will need during the service. This is to remain in an accessible location such as at or near the front door for ease of access through the length of service. If your home uses a keypad, a copy of the house key is required in case of keypad failure.

UNSECURED PETS

While in the sitter’s care, house pets must be secured indoors. Doggy doors/free access to outdoors must be temporarily closed for the duration of pet care services. 

INFESTATIONS

Barks n’ Bounds LLC reserves the right to cancel services if the service location is discovered to be infested with any pests or insects. At the sitter’s discretion and following communication with the client, short necessity-only (refill water bowl, scoop litter, feed, potty break, etc.) drop in services may replace almost overnights for the remainder of service. No refund or credit will be issued.

 

CLIENT HOME

All clients will be provided with a lockbox during the in person meet and greet. If your home uses a keypad, a copy of the house key is required in case of keypad failure. If a locksmith is required in the event of faulty locks, it is the client’s responsibility to pay the locksmith fee. This occurrence may result in reduced time for the service. 

All cameras in and around the home must be disclosed to Barks n’ Bounds LLC prior to the start of service. Any found or undisclosed cameras in a private area such as the bathroom will result in immediate service termination for the safety of the sitter. 

To keep your home and pets a top priority, Barks n’ Bounds LLC does not share services with anyone. Permission is required for anyone else to enter the home during the length of service and for 30 minutes both prior to and after the end of service. If approved, Barks n’ Bounds LLC is not liable for any lost/stolen or broken items that are not at fault of the sitter. 

Barks n’ Bounds LLC is only liable for damages caused by the pet we are caring for during the length of that service. 

HOLIDAYS

Due to increased demand during holidays, Barks n’ Bounds LLC charges an additional flat fee during the listed date ranges. Services booked within any of the days in the listed ranges will have the entire bill charged at the holiday rate.

VACCINATIONS

All pets are required to have up to date vaccinations, flea and tick, and rabies records submitted prior to start of service. These forms are to be submitted through our Time To Pet software.
