How will Barks n’ Bounds LLC ensure top notch care for your pets?

  • I wear a walking belt during every visit and every time I leave your house with your pets! The belt includes an air horn, pet corrector, and treats. These materials can be used to deter in the event of an unknown off leash dog approaching or any encounter that might put your dog at risk. As this is unlikely, prevention is key! I am prepared for any situation.

  • I use two leashes at all times while taking your pets for walks, potty breaks, or anytime they leave your house with us. This increases the safety of your pet and gives you peace of mind while allowing me to treat your pup each day!

  • With a certificate for dog CPR and First Aid, I keep a first aid kit on hand for every visit in the event of a minor injury. Conveniently kept in my pocket, American Red Cross offers a Pet First Aid Awareness app for readily available information and instruction in a medical emergency. I am always able to bring your pet to your preferred vet in the unlikely event of an emergency.

    I am also Fear Free certified! This means I have been formally trained in understanding and reducing the stress or anxiety of your pet. This ensures your sitter will be able to communicate your pets feelings and work with them comfortably and progressively!

About Your Sitter

Hi! I’m Katie, owner and founder of Barks n’ Bounds LLC and a fur mama of three!

My professional pet sitting journey began in 2020 when I was employed by a professional pet sitting company. During this time and continuing today, I both worked at and volunteered with shelters, boarding and doggy daycare facilities, and rescue networks. These experiences crafted the understanding of dog and cat behavior that today allows me to provide for your pets’ personalized care and training needs.

In the beginning of 2024 I started up my pet sitting business and today offer walking, extended stay care, and ongoing training for your dogs.

I look forward to getting to know what brings out the same joy and passion from your pets that I feel when caring for them!

Get to know us

while we get to know you!

  • I require a meet and greet for all new Barks n’ Bounds pets!

    To start, I provide a free virtual video call via Zoom where I get to know your pets and go over what services you’re interested in, as well as any other questions you may have.

    This is followed by a $20 in person meet and greet to ensure you and your pets are comfortable and confident in your sitter! We also provide you with a lock box for your house keys. This way your keys always remain safe on your property!

Drop-in Visits

30 Minutes - $25.00

60 Minutes - $35.00

This service provides double leashed dog walking, potty breaks and outdoor time, as well as individual playtime! These visits are also great for indoor only and small pets.

These visits are best for households with multiple pets. This allows plenty of time for high energy pets and those who require a little extra in their daily routines.

Day Stays

2-4 Hours In Your Home Care

2 Hours - $40.00, additional hours + $12.00

I provide day stay care ranging between 2-4 hours per visit. You can book multiple day stay visits in one day.

This service is great for pets who have lengthier or demanding routines, medical needs, experience in-home reactivity, and more. With day stays, your pets are allowed more time for interaction and enrichment!

Additional dogs are $15.00 per hour.

House Visits (No pets)

30 Minutes - $25.00

Preferred by vacationers, house visits can increase the safety of your home while you’re away!

I offer a 30 minute drop in where I will rotate all blinds and lights, retrieve mail and packages, fill bird feeders, water/tend to plants, flush plumbing, and maintain other general upkeep.

Add-on Services

These are great options for inclement weather days where we are unable to take your pet on a walk!

Licki mats - $2.00

Brush Outs - $10.00

Regular brushing is best for your dog’s ideal coat and skin health!

I provide a brush-out service for your pets using our slicker brush and metal comb.

I provide sanitized lick mats for your pets!

They are frozen with pet-safe pumpkin, plain Greek yogurt, or unsweetened peanut butter.
